O' Level Program

At Scholar International School, our O' Level program is designed to inspire students to explore, innovate, lead, and excel—preparing them thoroughly for success in their Cambridge International Examinations.

Class IX marks a pivotal stage in our students’ academic journey, as they begin to prepare for the public exams that will lead them into the next phase of their education. Students usually select 8 subjects at this level, and our curriculum is structured to ensure the majority of the course material is covered in Class IX. We offer a wide range of subjects across science, the humanities, and commerce, and encourage students to explore co-curricular subjects such as media studies, physical education, music, or drama. Core subjects such as Mathematics, English language, and Bangla are compulsory for all students. In Class X, students concentrate on revision and participate in two mock exams, typically held in March or April, to fine-tune their exam readiness.

Our O' Level subjects include Additional Math, English Literature, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combined Science, Business Studies, Enterprise, Environmental Management, Economics, Accounting, Bangladesh Studies, Computer Science, and Art & Design.

The teaching framework at Scholar International School is comprehensive; we ensure that the O' Level syllabus is meticulously covered and that overall revision is thoroughly conducted. Students are engaged in regular written work, either as homework or under classroom supervision, to reinforce learning and build confidence in exam techniques. Feedback from assessments is a core part of our teaching process, helping students to continually improve and stay on track.

Regarding public exam registration, the school maintains strict guidelines for attesting students' exam admission forms. Students are expected to follow the designated exam schedule. While we support students taking additional or advanced subjects, those who pursue them may not always have access to exam facilities within our school premises, and we do not assume responsibility for completing the teaching program or syllabus for such subjects.

This approach ensures that our students are well-prepared for their O' Level exams and are set on a strong academic path toward their future aspirations.
