History
In the sun-scorched summer of 2014, a visionary educator, Mrs. Kaocher Akther, set out to create a transformative learning environment in Mirpur-6, Dhaka. Driven by a passion for education and a commitment to nurturing young minds, Mrs. Kaocher Akther established Scholar International School in a modest but promising setting. From its early days, the school was designed to fill a vital need for high-quality, English-medium education in Bangladesh, aligned with the globally recognized British Curriculum.
Our honarable principals journey into education began long before Scholar International School opened its doors. As a dedicated teacher in various institutions, she was deeply involved in shaping young minds. Recognizing the need for a more organized, structured approach to education, she took the bold step to create a school that emphasized academic excellence and personal growth. Scholar International School, initially starting with a small number of students, quickly gained traction under her dynamic leadership.
Over the years, the school has changed and developed significantly, and yet it has retained its essential characteristics, striving for the highest standards in education, while emphasizing whole-child development through sports, events, the arts, and all kinds of other extracurriculars. Scholar International school continues to be one of the largest and most highly-regarded private schools in Bangladesh.
